Yan Shou Gong (YSG), The Art of Longevity, is a type of QiGong, Taichi, condensing the best parts of authentic Shaolin NeiGong.
QiGong was derived from Nei Gong
NeiGong was traditionally only taught to the highest level monks, as it required much prior training and knowledge. As the health benefits became known, about two centuries ago, some of the monks began to teach it outside the monastery, so the teaching became simplified but with still profound high results.
