Hi, I’m Shena and I’m a Certified Infant Massage Instructor.

I completed my training with the International Association of Infant Massage in 2010.
I am insured through ’Holistic Insurance’ and am also DBS checked. I have spent the past 17 years working with young children and their families. I initially trained as a Nursery Nurse in Australia, and after moving to the UK in 2006 worked as a Family Support Worker, and then for the NHS doing Postnatal Health Promotion.

About Baby Massage Classes
One to One personalised Baby Massage Classes are run from my home in Acocks Green, or in the comfort of your own home. The course is run over three sessions, with each session lasting approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Course Costs:
£45 for three personalised one to one sessions in my home in Acocks Green or within a five mile radius of B27 6AE (contact me for pricing if you live outside this area)

During the course you will learn the following skills:
How to give your baby a full body massage from head to toe
A routine that is helpful for stomach problems such as colic and wind
Gentle yoga movements
Ways that you can adapt massage as your baby grows older

For the sessions I will provide:
Teaching which will be personalised to you and baby
A massage mat to lie baby on
A bottle of cold pressed sunflower oil which is yours to keep
Handouts & massage booklet
A Certificate at session three
A cold drink of water or juice

You will need to bring to each session:
A towel or blanket to place over the massage mat to lie baby on
A change of clothes and spare nappy for baby
