MBCT is proven by science to help with stress and anxiety, also to help with modern day-to-day stressors or just feel good factors. The concepts behind MBCT are simple. Enjoy the present moment and live in the now rather than cloud the present with the world’s worries. I have been practicing Mindfulness since 2017 and I have felt the effects in every single one of the intervening days. This is not to say that I haven’t had my share of life’s ups and down. Indeed, I lost one of the most important people in my life in 2019, and yet, Mindfulness was there to help me through, like a good friend holding my hand.
I am proud to have gotten my accreditation from EFT & Mindfulness Centre in the UK. I provide group and one-to-one MBCT and Mindfulness sessions, as well as private sessions and events. The EFT & Mindfulness Centre is one which provides support and opportunities, the same support and opportunities I am eager to share all around. It’s been a wonderful journey and this is only the beginning. I am proud that I get to share this wonderful practice with others, as when something good happens to me, I want to spread it to others.
I am eager and enthusiastic about all forms of activities which help us live in the NOW. I am a lover of the sea, a snorkeller and a SCUBA diver, and in winter I enjoy trekking and looking for natural materials such as sea shells, sea glass and driftwood which I use to create art, jewellry and house decor. Waking up to living in the NOW has changed my life completely and I believe that sharing this blessing can help others to be more content as well.
I am now in my third year of my mindfulness journey and I feel that by waking up to the NOW I have also woken up to contentment, gratitude and the shared human experience. I no longer feel isolated and I find that there is beauty all around us. My practice has changed my life, it has given me clarity and direction, and I no longer suffer from destination and deferred happiness.
The most profound teachings I have learnt are the simplest:
1. What I foster grows
2. What I resist persists
3. Smiling is not only a by-product of happiness but in itself it causes happiness
