Sue’s philosophy is that there is no “one size fits all” protocol when it comes to health, and that many health problems can be alleviated by introducing individualized healing strategies. Her goal is to guide clients through the healing process, whilst including nutrition and stress management, together with herbal and homeopathic support as necessary. Sue has been trained by Energetix in the use of their wide range of homeopathic remedies and herbal and nutritional lines. She believes that she can offer a powerful combination approach to support your health goals, which can run alongside any other treatments or therapies being followed.
In addition to her general practice, Sue also has a special interest in ADD/ADHD, AS and related conditions and has completed additional continued professional development training in these subjects.
Sue co-runs workshops for parents and carers on complementary therapies for these conditions with other Network members, and offers occasional workshops on meditation, training the intuitional level of the mind (including dowsing) and nutrition. She gives talks to local groups on various aspects of holistic health and subtle energy.
Sue is also the co-ordinator of the Therapy Network student mentoring programme.
Iridology
Iridology is the analysis of patterns and structures in the iris of the eye. It is believed that the iris reflects body constitution, inherent strengths and weaknesses, and current health levels.
Iridology is a tool, which can assist a therapist in assessing the current health of a client, their general constitution, and offers an insight into the possible causes of even seemingly unrelated conditions. However it is not a system of diagnosis, and by itself does not offer treatment. It is therefore often used by a therapist in conjunction with another discipline, such as nutrition, or herbalism, homeopathy etc. In such cases it can offer valuable clues when used in conjunction with a case history. It assists the therapist by prompting what supplementary questions to ask a client, and perhaps offering indications about which therapies or treatment options might be most beneficial. Iridology also offers a method whereby any changes as a result of any treatments undertaken, will also be reflected in the irises, offering a non-invasive, simple method of follow up.
