Nutrition & Lifestyle Coaching (NLC) by Eilean Ellison
Trained at the Institute of Health Sciences (IHS), I take an individualized and holistic approach to food and wellness. Food is a powerful tool for health. My practice emphasizes quality and variety of food and forming new habits for lasting change over fad diets and quick fixes. I take a 360° assessment of a client’s diet and lifestyle. Using analysis, I assess where you are on your health journey, give you recommendations on how achieve your health goals, and finally through coaching give you the support to get there.

What does an NLC do?:
•Provides expert analysis on macronutrients, micronutrients, foods groups, food preparation & cooking methods, anti-nutrients, phytonutrients and emphasizes inclusion of quality and diversity of food consumed
•Gives educational feedback & recommendations based on your individual profile
•Partners with you to develop SMART action steps to reach your goals
•Provides coaching support and helps to to identify your strengths, motivations and barriers
•Acts as an accountability partner
•Creates individualized meal plans and recipes
•Offers support & tracking tools
