ABC Swimming Lessons

Aqua Baths Childrens swimming lessons is run solely by Rebecca Garwood established in April 2014, Rebecca was only 16 at the time of starting teaching making her way within the industry offering small classes and disability swimming, Rebecca tries to be inclusive of all swimmers. Occasionally Rebecca may have a teaching assistant to help during lessons. These may be teachers in training or ex pupils.

Rebecca holds the following qualifications all can be viewed in person at the pool;

STA

• Level 2 award in swimming teaching
• Level 2 certificate in swimming teaching
• Level 2 teaching Adults and children with disabilities
• Certificate in teaching aquacise
• Pool emergency responder
• Safeguarding vulnerable people and children.
• Level 3 teaching and education
• First aid at work
• Rebecca also holds STA tutor status and a current membership

ABCSWIMMINGLESSONS operates all year round excluding the big 6 week holidays (Barnsley times) and select time at Christmas and new year. Rebecca may have time off for personal holidays or training; these will be notified well in advance.
