I teach friendly Yoga classes for people specifically with Parkinson’s Disease. These sessions help you to build muscle strength, flexibility and confidence. They are a solid foundation for further physical activity, overall health and well-being.
I teach two classes:
Active Yoga for those recently diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease on Tuesdays at 10am -11am and Gentle Yet Strong Yoga on Fridays 10.30am – 11.30am. I also work on a 1to1 basis to help create a yoga sequence with you, which you can practice at home. I like to use postures (asana), breath work (pranayama), chanting, Bodywork (Shiatsu), Yoga Nidra and other types of visualisations to help calm the nervous system.
