Our senior therapist was trained in Thai Massage at the Royal Monastery Wat Pho which is globally recognised as the premier school for Thai Massage. Sabai Chester’s signature treatment is the promotion of the benefits of Thai Massage for long term inner health and well–being.
Thai Massage was developed by Buddist Monks in India over 2000 years ago spreading as a part of the Buddist religion throughout Asia. Within Thailand, the Indian stretching principles were influenced by Chinese medicine creating a new form of specific to Thailand. The aim of this therapy to achieve harmony and inner peace whilst enhancing the body’s ability to heal and to promote better health and well–being. Although, Sabai Chester can offer Thai Massage on a couch, we highly recommend that a client uses one of our traditional Thai floor pads.
