The Spirit of Imagination

A common response for some when they first experience the Shamanic Journey is ‘what if I’m making it up?’ And the simple response might be ‘And….?’ As we know, one of the principles of Shamanism is the principle of Animism – everything that is, is alive – and that, of course, includes imagination. Imagination too, is Spirit.

This course will seek to deepen our relationship with the Spirit of Imagination, this most creative ally who gifts us that from a place of the unknown – the space between our own corporeal thoughts and the place where we commune with our Spirit Kin. We shall explore creative landscapes and move through doors of perception to meet with those who can bring us closer to our own creativity. This workshop will seek to push at our edges and give us the opportunity to dive into the depths of that which we can’t make up and where we may get to meet our Muse.

This is a five-day training and requires participants to have shamanic journeying experience either through the Introduction to Shamanism course or an introductory course from another school.
