I am a Chartered Counselling Psychologist, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC); a full member of the Division of Counselling Psychology within The British Psychological Society (BPS) and a member of The Society for Existential Analysis (SEA).
I am available for work with adults, adolescents and children. I have gained clinical experience both within the NHS and the private sector, providing short and long–term weekly psychological treatment to a wide variety of client groups.
Training, qualifications & experience
I was trained in and am experienced with existential, humanistic, psychodynamic and cognitive–behavioural approaches.
Therapeutically, I work predominately from an Existential Phenomenological background, integrating other theories and techniques as appropriate, and holding particular interest in the third wave of behaviour therapies. I have gained clinical experience within the NHS, the charity sector and private healthcare services, providing short and long–term weekly psychological treatment to a wide variety of client groups.
Once you get in touch, I will invite you for an introductory appointment, where you will be able to tell me about what your aims are and what you expect from therapy. It is important that you feel safe and supported within the therapeutic relationship. I will be pleased to answer any questions you may have about the therapeutic process, my professional experience and the therapeutic agreement.
